Malco Theaters, Inc. is a movie theater chain run by a family with over a century of experience. The Lightman family has headed it for four generations.
In six states, the corporation has 37 theaters with over 371 screens (including Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri and Tennessee). Malco also owns and runs three bowling alleys as well as a family entertainment facility.
During World War I, Morris A. “M. A.” Lightman, Sr. (known as M.A.) left his hometown of Nashville, Tennessee, and relocated to Alabama.
He graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in engineering, but he saw himself as more of a showman and performer. Lightman flew to Atlanta, where he made theater industry contacts and attempted to learn the art of film projection. M.A.
Lightman Sr. founded the Hillsboro Theater in North Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1925. Crescent Amusement Co. founder Tony Sudekum built a rival theater just the opposite end of the same block about three months later.
According to research, Hillsboro was forced to close, and Malco Theaters, Inc. was formed as a result. The corporation purchased and constructed single-screen theaters around Arkansas.
In September 1926, Malco Amusement Company in El Dorado, Arkansas, added two more partners, W.F. McWilliams and L.B. Clark. As a result, Arkansas Amusements Enterprises, Inc. was formed, with 32 theaters across the state.
In 1929, Malco Theaters purchased their first property in Memphis, Tennessee. This is also the year that the company first used Vitaphone and Movietone technology to add sound.

Visitors enjoy coming here since they may register ahead of time and secure a spot. The staff is quite kind, and the location is ideal with lots of parking.
This excellent theater has just been renovated and is a fantastic place to see a movie. The sound is fantastic, the chairs are comfy, the facilities are spotless, and the food is plenty! It’s a great spot to take the complete family or just your friends.

5. Siloam Springs 6
This movie theater has many screens, displaying new films, as well as 3D and discount matinees.
Siloam Springs 6 is a movie theater on South Carl Street in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Siloam Springs 6 is next to Taco Bell and close to Mazzio’s Italian Eatery.
For the residents of Siloam Springs, this multiplex presents all of the newest box office successes. And this amazing movie theater has new released films.
With six theaters, there’s certainly something you want to watch! While you’re waiting for your movie, the youngsters may play in the arcade. Don’t forget about the snack bar; there’s nothing quite like movie theater popcorn.
The house lights do not dim during the movies, and the theater doors slam shut whenever someone exits. There are also a couple chairs with rubbish bags on them to discourage people from sitting on them.
Bring plenty of cash if you want food, because paying for stale popcorn is like swapping dollars for gold.
The service at the stand is questionable, and don’t expect to be greeted as you go in. They appear to believe that they are the only theater in town that can conduct shoddy services. Nevertheless, visit this theater to experience their atmosphere.

6. Pinnacle Hills Cinema
This awesome theater has reserved seating.” It’s a movie theater chain with a large number of screens showing popular films and the usual amenities and refreshments.
In October of 2006, the Pinnacle Hills Cinema was established. The venue is managed by Malco Theaters. In all of its auditoriums, the Malco Theater was the first to use digital projection.
Some of the amenities provided include advance tickets, online ticketing/kiosk, stadium seats, rocking chair comfort, Dolby digital, Dolby 3D, assisted listening devices, curved screens, and first-run attractions are all available.
It is one of the area’s most important cinemas and It’s quite similar to Malco Towne Hall Cinema. Regardless, I believe it is less well-organized due to the absence of more seats.
In fact, instead of being able to choose a seat when purchasing tickets, moviegoers must race for their favorite seating location as they enter the cinema theater. It’s not a pleasant sight, especially when a new popular film comes out.
The audio is quite professional. The Surrounding sounds are excellent. The screen is plainly viewable and clear from any seat in the theater. Unfortunately, the seats do not recline. They are, nevertheless, still at ease. Friendly personnel and quick service. The bathrooms are also clean.

8. Malco Fort Smith Cinema
This is a cinema chain with many screens showing mainstream movies and conventional facilities and beverages.
It’s not extremely packed, which is wonderful since you can get through the concession stand quickly. The staff does an excellent job of keeping the theaters clean. Bathrooms are also clean.
Going to the cinema is no longer cheap, but it is available everywhere. The floors aren’t sticky, and it typically smells like popcorn, which is delicious.
Nice seats, helpful service, and the sound system knocks you out of your seat. A good spot to view an action film. The VIP rooms are even better, with footrests and more personal space, but tickets are a few dollars extra, and I believe there are only two of them, so your options for movies are limited.
